I first visited Iceland in 1970. Over the next five decades, Iceland, its people, and especially the Icelandic Horse became an important part of my life and career.
Recently, after Icelandair's photography promotion, my son—a marketing professor at USC who grew up around Icelandic horses and has visited Iceland himself—suggested that today's travelers might enjoy learning how to create stronger photographs of Iceland before they arrive.
Now, at age 84, I find myself combining a lifetime of experience in Iceland with a modern tool that nearly every traveler already carries: the smartphone. His idea led to the creation of this presentation.
